This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section compiles 1950 to 1952 reports of unidentified aerial objects shared with the FBI. Most of it is an Air Force OSI investigation, dated May 12, 1952, into Donald Stewart's claim that a disc hovered over his car on Ritchie Highway near Baltimore. His companion George Tyler III later admitted he saw nothing. The file also covers disks seen at the Savannah River Plant, radar and visual sightings over Oak Ridge, a Fairbanks, Alaska jet pilot report, and an Ashland, Kentucky sighting.

RECEIVED FROM C-2 TRANSFER LESSON CHANNELS PARAPHASE NOT REQUIRED FROM: CGUSARAL PT RICHARDSON ALASKA FROM AROSI DEFTAR WASH D3 FOR AC0FS G2 DTG: 15 DEC 50 Air Cond reports military jet pilots via Fairbanks while over Weeks International Field at an altitude of 8000 feet observed a flash of light, yellow in color at an altitude between 25,000 and 30,000 feet. Horizontal distance to object was aprx 50 miles. Soon after flash a dark brown smoke appeared to 37° or climb at an angle of 40 degrees. At the leading edge of the smoke at aprx 100 feet appeared an object either cigar shaped or a fuselage without wings travelling at terrific speed. Pilots started pursuit on heading of 210 degrees msg, indicating 380 at every steep climb. Pursuit continued until pilots reached village of clear and lost sight of object. Meantime object gained altitude and speed and disappeared because of distance of aprx 50 to 55,000 feet. Color of smoke brown, color of object dark and no reflection from sunlight. Pilots assured of shape because of perfect silhouette against the sun. One pilot had object in view aprx 4½ mins. First sighted at 1500262. Coordinates 64 dogs 13 mins North, 149 dogs 30 mins West.
