This FBI file section collects Bureau correspondence on flying discs from 1947 to 1950. It includes a Portland field office memo on police officers who saw a silvery object over the city on September 11, 1947, and letters from citizens with sightings, theories and questions, along with Hoover's form replies. There is also a Chicago memo about a letter describing a secret saucer bomber, and a Louisville report on Al Hixenbaugh's June 1950 film of a disk. Other items include a Yuba City informant's drawings of a supposed Russian saucer and a note on Donald Keyhoe's book.

I do not believe it is horse feathers so much as I did in the drawings sent you sat. Ubaisly said on the answer with summers on this sancer like a sled centrifugal force will all hurd at a hell of speed. The jets are used on little off here is wheels on the sancer there are 3 wheels they are pulled into places in the sancer from the inside and some how or this a piece covers the spot on the outside the drawing shows that but I cannot figure out how it done from the inside of the sancer. How I believe this is all the done I can give you in them. Ubaisly said the big sancers are oblong fors and off at round in the middle - just as the round sancers are something little this, you know what I mean only I amms tran it.

I will mail this from Ulbiah monday 10th 1950 and just you will just this into the right hands .
