This FBI Freedom of Information release contains a memorandum dated March 31, 1950, sent from the New Orleans office to the FBI Director under the subject "Flying Discs." It reports a claim that Denver oilman Silas Newton said he leased land in the Mojave Desert, where an intact flying disc had been found with eighteen dead three-foot human-like occupants. The memo notes related articles by Frank Scully in Variety and in True Magazine. It was furnished for informational purposes only, with copies to Denver and Los Angeles.
