FBI file: National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP), Part 02

Federal Bureau of Investigation · 28 pages · text by OCR

This FBI file on the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP) covers correspondence and internal memos from 1961 to 1964. It contains citizen inquiries about the group, NICAP's reports about Dr. Frank E. Stranges implying he had FBI ties, and a request from New Orleans about an employee joining. The Bureau notes it never investigated NICAP. It calls some of director Donald Keyhoe's writing irresponsible and decides the FBI's name should not be connected with the organization.
