This is a letter the FBI sent Michael Best on May 11, 2017, answering FOIA request 1347908-000 about Fred Lee Crisman. It releases 9 pages after consulting the CIA. The release includes a March 10, 1970 Seattle FBI memo calling Crisman a scoundrel and doubting that he had any CIA tie. It also includes an anonymous file claiming Crisman was a CIA "Disruption Agent" and a March 1970 FBI transmittal passing that material to the CIA.

After January 1, 1970 all endorsements will be sent to the main GAO office as per enclosed address slip. Please send the May and August endorsements to that office as soon as they have been completed. Non expended funds (if any) are to be returned as per numbered endorsement.
