This is an FBI FOIA release sent to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault on September 16, 2020, under request 1474900-000. It contains 1964 Albuquerque field office teletypes, airtels and memoranda on Officer Lonnie Zamora's report of an oval object with a red insignia that rose with a roar and flame near Socorro, New Mexico, on April 24, 1964. Agent D. Arthur Byrnes Jr. noted four indentations and burned patches. Kirtland AFB officers said they could not explain Zamora's observations, and the FBI did not investigate.

Since we relied on previous results, additional records potentially responsive to your subject may exist. If this release of previously processed material does not satisfy your request, you may request an additional search for records.
