This is an FBI Freedom of Information/Privacy Acts release to John Greenewald Jr. of The Black Vault, dated March 29, 2023, covering United Nuclear Scientific Supplies. It was the first interim release: of 517 pages reviewed, 119 were released. The records come from the FBI Albuquerque JTTF and describe a 2006 case. An unidentified caller asked the company for chemicals that could serve as Sarin precursors, then turned up in person at the business. The file also contains grand jury subpoenas and interview notes.

UNSS is equipped with an answering machine and a caller
I.D. device. The caller looking for "special chemicals" has not
yet left a message on the answering machine. UNSS keeps all
messages until the caller has been contacted. The caller I.D.
maintains the incoming phone calls for up to a week before it is
overwritten. Should this individual call again,
