This FBI Central Records Center serial 153 from file 62-HQ-83894 comes from the Knoxville field office, file 65-11. It concerns "flying saucers" seen over the Oak Ridge area and is marked Internal Security - X. The enclosures sent to the Bureau were two photographs of reputed flying saucers seen at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, in July 1947, and a copy of a Knoxville News-Sentinel clipping. The clipping reports that W. R. Presley photographed an apparent flying saucer over the mountain from his home.
