This section of FBI file 62-HQ-83894 collects Bureau correspondence on flying disks from 1949 and 1950. Most of it concerns a letter to Walter Winchell, passed on by Ernest Cuneo, from Peter Camerlon Jones, who said he saw a top-shaped silver object in the mountains near Los Angeles in August 1947. Los Angeles agents could not find Jones, and Hoover suggested the letter might be a prank. The file also holds a Navy intelligence report on 6 or 7 discs seen over southern Oregon on 27 May 1949, plus letters from members of the public about Chicago and Toronto.

where the jets are furnished in I cannot not figure it out so will leave that to you the drawings I sent in sat. with the jet are 0.13 . That is the jet - but some of the centrifugal power mechanism is wrong in designs . Ubalsty had two or three sets of drawings and this copy I am sending you are plain and I believe better drawing .

In drawing #2 where turn buckets are shown on cables - they are shortened or lengthened to suit _ little This as the weights fly or pull outward - the weights must pull the cable straight out or up and down - see no height in the line holding the weight - lines must be straight when engines are in motion and up to speed allowing everything else we in proportion O.K.
