This Brazilian Air Force (FAB) CENDOC file, released via The Black Vault, collects UFO papers from 1977 and 1978. It includes a Salvador Air Base transcription of a 16 December 1977 mission report, in which the crew of C-95 2162 near Vitória saw a large luminous ball and ATC described a mothership with smaller craft. It also holds Ann Schwinn's letter to President Geisel, forwarded with UFO Education Center material promoting George Adamski. Rounding out the file are 24th NORAD Region log extracts on the November 1975 Montana missile-site sightings and Brazilian press clippings.

Mr. Bob Pratt Staff Reporter, National Enquirer Lantana, Florida 33464 Dear Mr. Pratt In response to your request of Sept. 26, 1977, for information concerning UFO incidents in or near Malmstrom AFB during October and November 1975, the attached is forwarded. The log pertaining to the month of October 1975 has been destroyed in accordance with Air Force Manual 12-50, Table 55-3, Rule 1, Quote: Air Surveillance Records, Control Logs consisting of data on routine daily surveillance operations which are at aircraft control and warning units and airborne early warning and control units, are destroyed one (1) year after close of the calendar year in which last entry was made. Unquote. The attached extracts have been taken from the senior director's log which was started in Nov, 1975. This is the only source of information we have pertaining to UFO incidents. The log itself has classified entries and cannot be copied; however, I wish to assure you all pertinent entries have been extracted. Sincerely Davis B Brecon DAVID B.
