This Defense Intelligence Agency release gathers Army and Air Force intelligence reports on unidentified flying objects from several countries. It contains translated Finnish Border Guard reports of glowing spheres and lights seen near the Soviet border, a Costa Rica sighting near Puntarenas, and Afghan news items from 1959 on bright objects over Kandahar, Mazar-i-Sharif and Kabul. Other reports describe objects over Kuldja in Sinkiang, China. A 1969 OSI report from Nakhon Phanom, Thailand concludes that a pilot's ground sighting was probably a religious procession carrying ceremonial drums.

La Razon (Buenos Aires) 26 July 68 - Describes attempt by five policeman in Olavarría to capture and later shoot three crewmembers of UFO. 14. La Cronica (Buenos Aires) 26 July 68 - Relates sightings of UFO's at San Carlos de Bariloche, Cordoba, and Coquimbo, Chile. 15. La Nacion (Buenos Aires) 27 July 68 - Describes sighting by persons in Laguna Paiva. 16. La Razon (Buenos Aires) 27 July 68 - (Photo) Relates new sightings near La Pastora, General Alvear, and Tapalque. The latter describes the crew and inability of machine-gun bullets to affect them. 17. Cronica (Buenos Aires) 30 July 68 - Reports testimony of Dr. James McDonald of the U.S. House of Representatives, sighting at Puntal del Este force from which caused motor of car to stall, near Cauquenes, Chile. 18. Clarin (Buenos Aires) 31 July 68 - (Photo) Describes and gives photos of a sighting in Lanus. 19. La Nacion (Buenos Aires) 1 Aug 68 - From Madrid, Fernando Sesma, president of the Association of Friends of the Visitors from Space, theorized that these visitors have picked Argentina as the place to begin the conquest of earth. 20. La Nacion (Buenos Aires) 2 August 68 - Describes a minute sighting near Rosario. 21. Asi (Buenos Aires) 3 Aug 68 - (Photo) Describes a sighting with photos near Trelew on 13 July 68. 22. La Razon (3 Aug 68) - Relates argument by a Professor Alexander Erú supporting theory of flying saucers. 23. Buenos Aires Herald (Buenos Aires) 8 Aug 68 - Describes in-space rendezvous between two UFO's between Indio Rico and Tres Arroyos, Argentina. COMMENTS: This report describes the rash of sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO's) presently occurring in Argentina and how this subject is the item of primary interest to the local populace. This report supplements IR 1 804 0121 68.
