Documents / FOIA release
This Defense Intelligence Agency release gathers Army and Air Force intelligence reports on unidentified flying objects from several countries. It contains translated Finnish Border Guard reports of glowing spheres and lights seen near the Soviet border, a Costa Rica sighting near Puntarenas, and Afghan news items from 1959 on bright objects over Kandahar, Mazar-i-Sharif and Kabul. Other reports describe objects over Kuldja in Sinkiang, China. A 1969 OSI report from Nakhon Phanom, Thailand concludes that a pilot's ground sighting was probably a religious procession carrying ceremonial drums.

the Cero. Underneath it appeared what crew members described as an oval object which seemed like an airship driven by a speed changing every few seconds. The contrivance gave off sparks having a luminosity ranging between white and an intense red. Moments later it was no longer seen. A CONCLUSION From all these incidents Rincón Pareja draws the conclusion that the flying saucers are considerably more than a collective optical illusion, and that behind them powerful forces are being moved that he understands belong to more developed beings than the inhabitants of the earth. "The stopping of motors, silencing of radios, radars, and the discharge of the platters are actions from an electromagnetic field created by the flying saucers. This same field would maintain an atmosphere around the airships by which they would be able to displace themselves in interstellar space, in the gaseous medium surrounding the earth, and even go inside the depth of our seas," Rincón Pareja says. COMMENT: During the past several months there have been numerous reports of so-called "flying saucers".
