This Black Vault release of Defense Intelligence Agency message traffic holds several attaché intelligence reports on UFO sightings. A 1987 report from the US defense attaché in Ghana describes a large metallic object seen over Accra and the Volta Region on 27 July 1987, including a detailed account from a Ghana Air Force pilot. A 1982 message covers lights in the sky east of Finland. A 1980 report from Lima says Peruvian Air Force Su-22 jets tried without success to intercept a UFO near Mariano Melgar Air Base, La Joya.
