This Defense Intelligence Agency compilation brings together several Department of Defense intelligence information reports on UFO sightings from 1968 to 1976. It includes 1968 reports of UFOs over South China and the Taiwan Strait, a 1970 South Korean report on possible North Korean balloons, and a table of Spanish sightings from 1973 to 1974 taken from the local press. It also contains a Pakistani report of a light seen before an earthquake and the USDAO Tehran account of F-4 jets losing instruments while chasing a UFO in September 1976.

STRANGE LIGHT OCCURRED IN THE NORTHWESTERN SIDE AT 9:06 ON AUGUST 28, 1988. IT WAS TAKEN FROM THE UTMOST WESTERN WINDOW OF THE NUMBER 5 BUILDING OF THE TECHNICAL COLLEGE. AT FIRST, IT (THE LIGHT) AS A LIGHT SPOT WITH TAIL. IT ALSO SPINS. IT RISES RAPIDLY. AFTER RISING INTO THE SKY THE TAIL REVOLVES AROUND LIGHT SPOT, IN THE MEANTIME, THE CIRCLE EXPANDS QUICKLY. THIS LASTS FOR ABOUT 4 MINUTES. THEN IT BECAME A LARGE CIRCLE, COVERING THE NORTHWESTERN SKY. THERE IS A BLUE LIGHT SPOT WITH A TADPOLE SHAPE, NEAR LOWER LEFT, WHERE THE ORIGINAL LIGHT ROSE.
