Declassified Canadian UFO Documents, search for Michalak

This Internet Archive item compiles 1965 to 1968 records from National Research Council of Canada files (RG 77, Vol. 306) on non-meteoritic sightings. It contains fireball and UFO telex reports from RCAF stations, RCC Vancouver and the RCMP, covering lights seen over Sydney, Vancouver, Cochrane, Toronto, Whitehorse and Shediac. It also includes an RCMP investigation of a 12 July 1968 impact at Tobin Road, Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, which concluded the object was probably a meteorite, not a UFO.

REPORT RECEIVED FROM PERSON IN NORTHWESTERN GENERAL HOSPITAL OF B BRIGHT BODY, ROUND, MOVING SOUTH AT FAST SPEED, EMITTING GREEN SPARKS. WEATHER WAS CLEAR. FOUR OTHER PERSONS IN WARD ARE REPUTED TO HAVE SEEN OBJECT BUT ALL REFUSED NAMES. REPORT TIME 0301102 TO 0301122. FIVE MINUTES AFTER THIS REPORT ANOTHER REPORT RECEIVED FROM MALE CLLER WHO ALSO REFUSED NAME. GENERAL DESCRIPTION THE SAME. TORONTO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ALSO RECEIVED REPORTS. WRITER RECEIVED CALL THIS MORNING FROM KITCHENER RECORD ENQUIRING ABOUT FIREBALL OR METEORITE ACTIVITY. REPORTER STATED SEVERAL REPORTS RECEIVED IN KITCHENER DISTRICT AND ELMIRA.
