This Internet Archive item compiles 1965 to 1968 records from National Research Council of Canada files (RG 77, Vol. 306) on non-meteoritic sightings. It contains fireball and UFO telex reports from RCAF stations, RCC Vancouver and the RCMP, covering lights seen over Sydney, Vancouver, Cochrane, Toronto, Whitehorse and Shediac. It also includes an RCMP investigation of a 12 July 1968 impact at Tobin Road, Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, which concluded the object was probably a meteorite, not a UFO.

AT 1801402 MR J BRYERS 49 SCARBOROUGH HEIGHTS TORONTO AN ALDERMAN IN WARD 1 WAS WALKING WITH HIS WIFE NEAR HIS HOME WHEN HE SIGHTED AN OBJECT APPROACHING FROM THE EAST VERY LOW IT WAS RED IN COLOUR, GAINED HEIGHT AND PROGEEDED TO THE SOUTHWEST THEN BROKE IN PIECES. TEN MINUTES LATER HE AGAIN SIGHTED A SIMILIAR OBJECT TO THE SOUTH AND MUCH LOWER. TEN MINUTES LATER HE SIGHTED A SIMILIAR OBJECT TO THE WAST AND WAS REPORTED QUOTE REAL REAL LOW UNQUOTE. THE OBJECT CAME OVER SOME HOUSES AND WAS OBSERVED BY BINOCULARS FOR THREE SECONDS AND WAS SEEN TO BE A BRIGHT OBJECT WITH A DARK CENTRE. NO SOUND WAS REPORTED BT @ informed at 181825 325246
