This Internet Archive item compiles 1965 to 1968 records from National Research Council of Canada files (RG 77, Vol. 306) on non-meteoritic sightings. It contains fireball and UFO telex reports from RCAF stations, RCC Vancouver and the RCMP, covering lights seen over Sydney, Vancouver, Cochrane, Toronto, Whitehorse and Shediac. It also includes an RCMP investigation of a 12 July 1968 impact at Tobin Road, Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, which concluded the object was probably a meteorite, not a UFO.

This unit has round disk with a semi teardrop of solid white leaning from 6 o clock towards 5 o clock see drawing. i could see in sky high up with naked eye and using 2 power opera glasses rated 16 miles distance noted the saucer part on top was like looking at a basketball with red lights piloting in glass all around. this on the 29 while going to work at 4 am. on 31 at 3.20 am till about 3.45 am then light could covered it. did not see while driving to work. SMALL BALL WHITE WITH RED SCATTERS IN IT WAHE - SOLID WAITE CIRCLE VERY DIM NO OT AENS IN AERA OF SKY .
