This Internet Archive item compiles 1965 to 1968 records from National Research Council of Canada files (RG 77, Vol. 306) on non-meteoritic sightings. It contains fireball and UFO telex reports from RCAF stations, RCC Vancouver and the RCMP, covering lights seen over Sydney, Vancouver, Cochrane, Toronto, Whitehorse and Shediac. It also includes an RCMP investigation of a 12 July 1968 impact at Tobin Road, Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, which concluded the object was probably a meteorite, not a UFO.

RECEIVED 727 FEB 1968 GENTNAL REGISTRY M.G.A.F. STN. CLINTON Flying Saucers. Feb 18 1968 Ralph Chamberlain 1661 Grant Av. Dear Sirs. Lincoln Park Mich 48146 friday evening Feb 16 about 7 Pm to 7.30 I noticed over the Detroit River and Windore Oht. a disk shape Glowing white. with a white light trail above and below going out from it 180 d. it was on edge. as a silver dollar standing on a table. ( with the moon as a dime alongside it.) on sat evening with my 7 x 50 i watched in same area a saucer unit that became three white saucers small and then as one again. masking z shaped and other types of saucer capers. sometimes white with a blueish ( with naked eye ) but small white with 7 x 50. while over Wyandotte Mich way i saw a cigar shape about 20-30 mm long in my 7 x 50 unit. WITH DISTINCT RED AT TOP WHITE CENTER AND BLUE BOTTOM STAYED IN SAME SECTION. LOOKING AT IT WITH NAKED EYE ONE WOULD SAY IT WAS A STAR BUT A LITTLE BRIGHTER. while a shop time keeper with a cottage near BobLo island on the canadian side at about 6 P_ one night his wife stepped on pourch and back in quickly a saucer was in lake erie low. this is two years in a row she has seen one there. I asked him to have his wife write it up and send in to the Navy, she did. today feb 23 i saw a nice red bright light over Dearborn from home then as i drove to work at 4.10 am i saw it still but it was moving NOT AN AIRPLANE THOU. I have 20 hrs, in cessana and piper chérokee.
