This Internet Archive item compiles 1965 to 1968 records from National Research Council of Canada files (RG 77, Vol. 306) on non-meteoritic sightings. It contains fireball and UFO telex reports from RCAF stations, RCC Vancouver and the RCMP, covering lights seen over Sydney, Vancouver, Cochrane, Toronto, Whitehorse and Shediac. It also includes an RCMP investigation of a 12 July 1968 impact at Tobin Road, Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, which concluded the object was probably a meteorite, not a UFO.

Stand like train whistling by . Punition extended on couple of minutes. Memory of Minneapolis last. 2. Mr. James D. Orland of Wotter, Dut. sent awakened by explosion. Went to living room, held at window facing west. Bright white light strong trudd shorth. Sound, like group of airplane. Duration of time light visible about 1 minute. Did not soon or fast as falling star. An bright as fall moon. Weather clear, star strong. Date at end of event : 0306 E.57. 3. Mr. Van Voeck, Worthing. N68/017 " Need bruising speech coming in. The sun, bad bury which shook the ground. The bruising went away. Duration: about 3 minutes of snort. Mr. Van Voeck did not get any bad look. He is accounted to the extent of aircraft from Treton. Not like anything he had on hand fifteen years. MAR 14 1968
