This Internet Archive item compiles 1965 to 1968 records from National Research Council of Canada files (RG 77, Vol. 306) on non-meteoritic sightings. It contains fireball and UFO telex reports from RCAF stations, RCC Vancouver and the RCMP, covering lights seen over Sydney, Vancouver, Cochrane, Toronto, Whitehorse and Shediac. It also includes an RCMP investigation of a 12 July 1968 impact at Tobin Road, Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, which concluded the object was probably a meteorite, not a UFO.

Dec. 7 Three navy divers from Halifax were to join the underwater search today off nearby Shag Harbor for an unidentified flying object reported to have disappeared in the water there Wednesday night. (OCT. 43) search, yesterday A navy spokesman said last night the four-man navy diving team already there found no trace of the object during their noun-to-sunset. The divers, marching in pairs, in water 10-80 feet deep, reported good variability and a fine, sandy sea bottom. Mentwidle, in Ontario, a spokesman for an RCAT department that checks out reports of unidentified flying objects said the department was "very interested" in the report from Shug Harbor. "We get hundreds of reports every week," he said. "But the Ring Harbor incident is one of the few where control. A local resident who first saw the object called REMAP who arrived in time to see it floating and finally discover the water. Today, hurricane was hurricane at 8.4 m. The curry-spelman and residents could not describe the shape of the object, but said it was over no less oog and was dark with four white lights.
