Declassified Canadian UFO Documents, search for Michalak

This Internet Archive item compiles 1965 to 1968 records from National Research Council of Canada files (RG 77, Vol. 306) on non-meteoritic sightings. It contains fireball and UFO telex reports from RCAF stations, RCC Vancouver and the RCMP, covering lights seen over Sydney, Vancouver, Cochrane, Toronto, Whitehorse and Shediac. It also includes an RCMP investigation of a 12 July 1968 impact at Tobin Road, Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, which concluded the object was probably a meteorite, not a UFO.

1623502 MR DOUG FOGGO OF WOOLER ONT 8 MILES NORTH WEST OF TRENTON REPORTED A UFO NORTH WEST OF HIM. THE UFO WAS ALSO SEEN BY MRS GILBERT AND ROI GILBERT OF TRENTON AND F/L COON OF THE TOWER STAFF TRENTON BASE. A COMPOSITE DISCRIPTION INDICATES THE OBJECT CHANGED COLOUR FROM BLUE THROUGH RED AND GREEN WITH FLASHES OF BRILLIANT WHITE. THE OBJECT OBSERVED THROUGH HIGH POWER BINOCULARS APPEARED TO RESEMBLE A BALL WITH LOWER HALF GLOWING RED TO GREEN. BRILLIANT FLASHES OF WHITE CAME FROM RIM AT WHICH TIME THE OBJECT MOVED RAPIDLY. MOVEMENTS WERE ERRATIC BACK AND FORTH IN HORIZONTAL PLANE AND RAPIDLY UP AND DOWN IN THE VERTICAL PLANE. OBJECT WAS IN VIEW FOR ABOUT FORTY MINUTES BEFORE DISAPPEARING INTO THE NORTH WEST
