This CIA FOIA release, dated 2001-04-09, collects 1978 internal records from the case Ground Saucer Watch, Inc. v. CIA (Civil Action 78-859). It includes an Office of General Counsel memo, a stipulation from plaintiff's attorney Peter Gersten that restates the group's requests for all CIA documents relating to UFOs, a list of the original requesters, and routing slips. Office of Data Processing components searched their files and reported that they found no material related to UFOs.

Counter Intelligence (CI) and Foreign Intelligence (FI) staffs of DDO: records of clandestine collection operations against UFOs and foreign nation intelligence data on UFOs, including hypnotic regression and other psychological interrogation and indoctrination projects: disinformation and deception plans and operations against UFOs and foreign intelligence agencies.
