Documents / FOIA release
This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum from the Deputy Assistant Director for Collection, Scientific Intelligence, to the Deputy Director for Coordination follows up a July 8 telephone call about Dr. M. K. Jessup. Agency scientists talked with Jessup about a meteor study in Mexico and about flying saucers, and then met with a contact he referred them to. The memo concludes that the Agency has nothing to gain from any further follow-up. The document was approved for release in 2001.
