This Central Intelligence Agency release, approved in 2001, gathers records of the OSI Scientific Advisory Panel on Unidentified Flying Objects, which met 14 to 17 January 1953 under H. P. Robertson. It includes an internal memo on the meetings, the panel's charge, the list of members and the evidence presented, and the final report. The panel concluded that UFOs posed no direct physical threat to national security. It recommended stripping the subject of its special status and educating the public.
