Documents / FOIA release
This is a short Washington Daily News item dated March 2, 1967, kept in CIA files and approved for release on February 10, 2004. It reports that Dr. James E. McDonald, a physicist at the University of Arizona, said in Tucson that the Air Force team investigating UFO reports had whitewashed the subject. He estimated there are probably 10 times as many unexplained UFOs as the study indicated and called the Air Force probe superficial and incompetent.
