This Central Intelligence Agency information report, declassified under the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act, forwards copies of British interrogation reports from about December 1949. The main report covers a defector from the East German Volkspolizei school at Prenzlau and describes its strength, weapons, artillery training, staff and political character, with captured training documents attached. Another report describes the Sachsenhausen camp under Russian administration, including its guards, food, housing, medical care and death rate. The text contains no UFO material.

Source claims that pupils are granted this evening leave on the basis of their progress in the training, but each pupil normally gets out once per week although it is not uncommon that a pupil who has misbehaved, or who has shown no interest in the training has not been allowed out once in a period of say four weoks. Recently a scheme has been tntroduced whereby two pupils from each 'Campania 4140 allowed out of barracks daily and during the training period. 18. Audbildungsabteilung. 20. Russian control officer Source confirms the presence of a Russian officer who wears Volkspolizei 2nspe1teur i s uniform exclusively. He claims that he himself first saw this officer during October 1949 but can give no details of the officer's duties and Btates that he is not seen very much. The officer. is understood not to speak German. 21. German.parsonalities The following list of personalities is given without much details as many of them have already been reported on in detail.
