This Central Intelligence Agency information report, declassified under the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act, forwards copies of British interrogation reports from about December 1949. The main report covers a defector from the East German Volkspolizei school at Prenzlau and describes its strength, weapons, artillery training, staff and political character, with captured training documents attached. Another report describes the Sachsenhausen camp under Russian administration, including its guards, food, housing, medical care and death rate. The text contains no UFO material.

Designation Source claims that this school was originally designated a Toeherv Pciizoi Schule' but then called only °Volkspolizeischule FRENZLAW. 2. kzeof school and duration of Course Pupils have been led to understand that on termination of the course in April 1949 most of them will leave the school as police officers. 3. Strength and Oronisatien Source claims that the total number of policemen at the school must be around the 1,100 figure, He reports that there are now ton (10) 'Kompanion' although the tenth was just being filled up. Each s Kompanie t has an estab- liEhment for 107 policemen, this figure being made up as follows:- 7 - Permanent staff 100 - Pupils who supply - Kompaniefdhrer (Oberrat) Kompanie PK (Rat) 4 Zugfdhrer (Oberkommissar) Kompanieschreiber (Meister) - Innendienstleiter Fourrier Zug PK men Gruppenfdhrer . 4. Armament reported arrival of Artillery Source is not too sure about the armament, but claims that there must have been about 15 machine guns (MG ?); 150 tommy guns (MP 42) and about 500 car- bines (98 K), He reports that about the middle of October 2Mortars arrived and. he thinks that these were Granatwerfer 8. cm. 5. Source reports that on 7th October 1949 artillery pieces were delivered at the school and he claims to have seen about four 8.8 cm. anti-aircraft-guns ani a number of light A.A. guns possibly2 am. calibre. Source adds that for about three weeks before these artillery pieces arrived the garages where they are now stored had been declared an out-of-bounds arm. 6. Training_ Source himself did not take part in the training and is unable to give details of the scope of the various subjects under the various headings. 7. ite claims that the training is divided into ton (10) main subjects and that these are known under a constant number designation (Roman figures). The various branches of each subject are determined each week by a code which chniges weekly, and as instructions come from a higher level as to what subjects ani how many hours of each are to be dealt with. Source claims that it was, thierefore, impossible for anyone at company level to know what subjects were going to be dealt with two weeks ahead. 8.
