This Central Intelligence Agency dispatch dated 16 June 1954, declassified in 2006 under the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act, forwards two informant reports on Czech emigre affairs from Milosch Svoboda of General Prchala's Czech National Committee. They cover Prchala's refusal to join the ABN, a claim that Vladimir Pekelsky is paid DM 5,000 monthly by a German intelligence agency, the disappearance of Jaroslav Novak, and exile leadership disputes. The document contains no UFO material.

General Lev PRCHALA, leader of the Czech National Committee, LONDON, informed the ABN supreme board that he could not, and would not, accept his election to the ABN. The official reason is seen in the fact that the General in his capacity as president of a federative institution (Czech-Sudoten German Federative Committee) cannot assume a directing function in an extreme-nationalist organization. The ABN asked PRCHALA for a clarifying discussion to which the General agreed. It will take place during PRCHALA's next visit to KUNICH (presumably 6-8 June on the occasion of the Sudeten German Rally in KUNICH). 2. A second and unconfirmed version indicates the following: After the split of the ABN, the two groups of the organization are attempting to win for their purposes East-European politicians-in-exile who stand in good repute among German expellees. Thus, the STETZKO-group endeavors to win over General PRCHALA, whereas the GLASKOV-group tries to secure Minister M. CENHAK's participation. Since the German expellees, especially those from the CSR territory, are apprehensive of being thus involved in the ABN controversy, they expressed the desire to the two gentlemen that they, PRCHALA and CENHAK, keep out of the organization for the time being. According to information from Sub-Source, Vladimir PEKELSKY receives DM 5,000 per month from a German intelligence agency (name was not divulged). PEKELSKY attempts, sometimes successfully, to sell brushed up information in the West (to Germans, Italians, the British and Americans). However, he did not succeed in securing political cooperation with the Sudeten German Landsmannschaft. Asked about PEKELSKY's actual supporters in GERMANY, Sub-Source said that Mrs. PEKELSKY has excellent contacts, stemming from the time of the German occupation in PRAGUE, to former high-ranking leaders of the Gestapo, SS and SD, who, behind the soames, now exert considerable influence on East-European questions in GERMANY. Sub-Source refused to give concrete data.
