This undated Central Intelligence Agency cover dispatch, a secret base communication from the CIA Nazi war crimes special collection file on Adolf Slavik, forwards a report confirming a Dutch Gelderlander newspaper article of 8 October 1953 about the Social Movement in Austria. Because the files held no traces on Hans Lorenz, the report and article are also being sent to Vienna, and both Headquarters and Vienna are asked for comments. The dispatch thanks Vienna for obtaining a copy of "Der Aufbruch". It contains no UFO material.

There is attached a report which states confirms the contents of the article taken from the Dutch newspaper Golderlander of 8 October 1953 forwarded to Headquarters under reference, concerning the Social Movement in Austria. 2. In view of paragraph 2 of ZAVA-5058, which stated that the VOB files contained no traces on Hans LORENZ, this report, along with a copy of the above mentioned article, is being sent also to Vienna. 3. The attention of both Headquarter's and Vienna is called to the request for comments on this report. 42 wishes to take this opportunity to express to Vienna its appreciation of the effort out forth by that Base to obtain a copy of "Der Aufbruck". was very pleased to receive the attachments to EAVA-5058.
