This undated Central Intelligence Agency memorandum was sent to the Commissioner of the Immigration and Naturalization Service in reply to a request for derogatory information on Nicolae Malaxa, a Romanian industrialist. It reviews certified Romanian records supplied in 1949 on Malaxa's behalf. It covers claims that he collaborated with Germany, his links to the Iron Guard and his arrest after the 1941 revolt, and compensation arranged by the Communist-dominated government. It also reports his continued financial support of exile groups. The document contains no UFO material.

The following paragraphs set forth certain data In our files and bring out pertinent points contained in documents purporting to be copies and certified translations of 52 official Rumanian and other ., records relating; to PALMA. These documents were made available to this Agency in Novseber 1949 by Oacar COMAE, who described himself es repro- ' seating MAU.
