This CIA dispatch, dated 8 September 1958 and released in 2006 under the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act, answers a name trace request on Josef Flachslander, born 3 February 1900. It sends on the results of a Berlin Document Center check on him and reports that the station's files hold no traces. It adds that a further records check needs the branch of service he served in and, if possible, his rank in a specific year. The UFO heading is an OCR misreading.
