This Central Intelligence Agency file is a compilation of Top Secret Director's Log entries from September and December 1951. The entries are daily reports from CIA offices such as OSO, OPC and OO on covert operations and intelligence matters. They cover leaflet drops over mainland China, agent teams sent into Albania and Bulgaria, plans for defector detention centers in Panama, liaison with British, French and Spanish services, and the opening of the Trotsky papers at Harvard. None of the entries mentions UFOs.

S TO SECRET * DIRECTOR'S LOG ATE OF DATE 8:30 AM,22 Sep - 8:30 AM, 24 Sep 51 DCUMENT RECEIVED FROM TO SUBJECT ACTION -OPC The OPC Chief of Station in Hong Kong reports that the message misdelivered to BGMARQUE Headquarters in Taipei by General Chennault's secretary was originated by an OSQ agent there in connection with efforts to procure covertly an MIG-15. It was. in- tended for the CAT security chief. The Chief of Station stated that although the secretary is not properly trained for cut-out duties, there was no evidence of disloyalty on her part. He has recom- mended that new cut-out arrangements be made and that the mistake be discussed with the 080 agent, pointing out how serious would have been the delivery of a wrong message to the CAT security chief.
