This Central Intelligence Agency file is a compilation of Top Secret Director's Log entries from September and December 1951. The entries are daily reports from CIA offices such as OSO, OPC and OO on covert operations and intelligence matters. They cover leaflet drops over mainland China, agent teams sent into Albania and Bulgaria, plans for defector detention centers in Panama, liaison with British, French and Spanish services, and the opening of the Trotsky papers at Harvard. None of the entries mentions UFOs.

ADMINISTRATION (Cont'd)
Times of 16 September that he has asked CIA for information
that the Communists were extorting cash subsidies and
financial support from certain Italian industries. Senator
Ferguson has now written the CIA Legislative Counsel regarding
this matter. Preparation of a reply is being coordinated
through the Deputy Director and DD/P. When all pertinent
CIA information on this subject has been correlated, the
Deputy Director will make recommendations as to appropriate
reply to Senator Ferguson.
