This Central Intelligence Agency file is a compilation of Top Secret Director's Log entries from September and December 1951. The entries are daily reports from CIA offices such as OSO, OPC and OO on covert operations and intelligence matters. They cover leaflet drops over mainland China, agent teams sent into Albania and Bulgaria, plans for defector detention centers in Panama, liaison with British, French and Spanish services, and the opening of the Trotsky papers at Harvard. None of the entries mentions UFOs.

that both ONI and the Department of State also -
- approved his company's activities. Although
there should be no difficulty in effectively
denying an "encouragement" which did not in
fact occur, the possibility of having CIA
involved in a case which might become a
national scandal must be avoided. CIA's
Legal Counsel is fully informed of the case,
and is working with Department of Justice attorneys.
