This Central Intelligence Agency personality (201) dossier on Sandelio Herminio Diaz Garcia holds material dated from November 1956 to August 1975 and was approved for release in 2025. It contains 1966 intelligence cables on a 29 May 1966 exile infiltration attempt near Havana, in which Diaz was reported killed while trying to assassinate Fidel Castro. It also includes a report on cancelled assassination plans, 1973 traces linking a Herminio Diaz to narcotics trafficking, and FBI file listings. The dossier contains no UFO material.

ALL OF THE PERSONS LISTED ABOVE ARE KNOWN TO HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH MILITARY ACTIVITY AGAINST CUBA SPONSORED BY COMMANDOS L. AND THE RECE.
