This Central Intelligence Agency release, dated 23 June 2009, is a FOIA response letter from Information and Privacy Coordinator Delores M. Nelson to Larry W. Bryant, reference F-2008-01781. It covers his August 2008 request for records of a 1987 special meeting at FAA headquarters in Washington, D.C., and for similar airborne UFO encounters reported since 17 November 1986. The CIA says it is reopening the request and will search for records through 15 June 2009. It places Bryant, a UFO Magazine columnist, in the news media fee category. Several preceding pages are fully redacted.
