This is a final response letter from the Central Intelligence Agency to Timothy S. Cooper under FOIA reference F-2018-01809. The letter is dated 30 January 2020 and signed by Information and Privacy Coordinator Mark Lilly. Cooper had asked for records of DCI Walter B. Smith's meeting with President Truman on January 6, 1953, which was held to brief him on flying saucers. The CIA reports that it found no responsive records. The letter explains Cooper's appeal rights and the mediation services offered by OGIS.
