This is a letter dated August 17, 2018 from Timothy S. Cooper to the Central Intelligence Agency FOIA Requester Service Center, filed under reference F-2018-01132. Cooper asks for a status report on his 2 March 2018 FOIA request. That request sought DCI General Walter B. Smith's Weekly Friday Black Book Briefing of 19 December 1952 to President Truman on the subject of "flying saucers", along with any related documents. The CIA stamped the letter received on August 22.
