This is a Central Intelligence Agency email exchange dated July 2, 2014, approved for release in 2017. A CIA staff member notes that it is World UFO Day and proposes linking it to the agency's U-2 Week social media campaign. The suggested post reads "Reports of unusual activity in the sky in the '50s? That was just us," with a link to a U-2 document attached. A colleague replies approving the idea as good to go.
