The Central Intelligence Agency issued this Central Intelligence Bulletin on 17 February 1960. The daily brief was distributed to the President and senior officials, and it covers world political and military developments. Items include Khrushchev's formula for two separate German peace treaties, a Communist attack on a Nationalist air patrol over the Taiwan Strait, and Israel's boycott of a UN armistice meeting. It also covers anxiety over Belgian Congo independence, an Iraqi cabinet shake-up, Cuban-Soviet ties and a Soviet nuclear test detection proposal. It contains no UFO material.
