This Current Intelligence Bulletin was issued by the Central Intelligence Agency on 15 October 1955 and released in 2019. Its first item passes on a US Air Force cable. The cable says Senator Richard Russell, Lt. Col. E. U. Hathaway and Ruben Efron, travelling by train in the Transcaucasus on 4 October 1955, saw two circular flying discs take off almost vertically near Alyat Station, with searchlights nearby. The bulletin's other items cover Morocco, Yugoslav and Soviet relations and a planned Peronista strike.

Pamphlets are distributed warning persons not to attem t to work on this day at the risk of being shot. The director of national security has issued a communique warning against possible disorders and advising that energetic measures will be taken against disturbers of the peace. Comment Under Peron, 17 October was a legal holiday marked by mass loyalty rallies under the auspices of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), which had won out over anti-Peron military leaders in .1945.
