This Central Intelligence Agency file, dated 29 September 1975, collects Office of Security memoranda written while the Senate Select Committee was investigating the Agency. Staff were told to alert former employees about possible committee contact over Project MERRIMAC/RESISTANCE, and the file answers committee questions about Hayes International and Bay of Pigs pilots. It also records staff interviews about CIA name checks at NSA and a Justice Department request for records on domestic electronic surveillance. It contains no material on UFOs.

On this date Mr. Raudenbush from the office of the DDO called the undersignod re the KONICKI case. KONICKI is one of six former employee cases which the Department of Justice is reviewing through the Office of General Counsel. The Depart» ment of Justice review is in connection with an examination of Agency cases within the last six years (Statute of Limitations is S years for any prosecution and six years for restitution action) where an Agency employee was terminated for some illegal or possibly illegal action, and the Department of Justice was not previously advised. 2. Mr. Raudenbush advised that his interest was in having the Office of Security file on KONICKI made available to the Domestic Collection Division for review in order for DCD to reply to OGC concerning possible ramifications to DCD operations ii any legal action was initiated against KONICKI. 3. Mr. Raudenbush was advised that the above request should be directed to the DD/PSI or the Director of Security. However, Mr. Raudenbush was also advised that the Office of Security file would contain little specific information regarding the various DCD activities of KONICKI which would be necessary for DCD impact consioeration and that the Office of Security had replied to OGC re any investigative matters of interest in the KONICKI case.
