This Central Intelligence Agency file, dated 29 September 1975, collects Office of Security memoranda written while the Senate Select Committee was investigating the Agency. Staff were told to alert former employees about possible committee contact over Project MERRIMAC/RESISTANCE, and the file answers committee questions about Hayes International and Bay of Pigs pilots. It also records staff interviews about CIA name checks at NSA and a Justice Department request for records on domestic electronic surveillance. It contains no material on UFOs.

“~15 ~¢~ 5 DEC1975 MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Security SUBJECT : ITEK, Relationship With l. At your request I advised our closed circuit funding contact at ITEK, one Mr. Raymond A. Parker, Vice President, Optical Systems Division, that the Senate Select Committee investigating the Intelligence Community had asked for certain information concerning CIA-ITEK relationships. I told him that it appeared the closed circuit funding relationship was not germane to their inquiry and that we would resist releasing that information to them. 2. I asked him what would be his concern if we were compelled to release this particular piece of information. 3. He replied that he had no concern whatsoever. In fact, he had anticipated this as a possibility over a year ago and had taken up the matter with the "Corporate Fathers." He went on to state that the "Corporate Fathers" also had no concern whatsoever. 4. I promised to advise him if we were required to brief the Senate Select Committee on this matter.
