This Central Intelligence Agency file, dated 29 September 1975, collects Office of Security memoranda written while the Senate Select Committee was investigating the Agency. Staff were told to alert former employees about possible committee contact over Project MERRIMAC/RESISTANCE, and the file answers committee questions about Hayes International and Bay of Pigs pilots. It also records staff interviews about CIA name checks at NSA and a Justice Department request for records on domestic electronic surveillance. It contains no material on UFOs.

that in response on Mr. Issaaff, the Office of Security
shnuld alert Mr. Clarke's staff that Mr. Issaaff retircd
in a covar capacity and that he is presently under contract
as an independent contractor performing field investigations.
The probable area of cancern is mail intercepts since
Mr. Issaeff was the principal officer involved with SRPOINTER.
In ihe case of Mr. Delaney, he assisted Mr. Issaeff in the
SRPOIHTER praject.
4. In addition ta the shave, the Hirecter af Security
raquested that the undersigned coordinate with Mr. Walt Lloyd
regarding Messrs. Issaeff and Delaney. Accordingly, I advised
Hr. Marv n Smith on Mr. Clarke‘: staff of pertinant data on
theae two farmer Gffime ef Security omployeas. According to
Mr. Smith, Mr. Clarke’: staff is presently working eut
pracadural aspects of handling future cases.
