This Central Intelligence Agency file, dated 29 September 1975, collects Office of Security memoranda written while the Senate Select Committee was investigating the Agency. Staff were told to alert former employees about possible committee contact over Project MERRIMAC/RESISTANCE, and the file answers committee questions about Hayes International and Bay of Pigs pilots. It also records staff interviews about CIA name checks at NSA and a Justice Department request for records on domestic electronic surveillance. It contains no material on UFOs.

MEMORANDUM FOR: Acting Chief, Security Analysis Group
SUBJECT : InterArmco

l. Reference is made to the attached 18 October 1975
memorandum from the Chief,Cover and Commercial Staff, which
concerns interest by the Senate Select Committee Staff in
InterArmco, as well as individuals associated with that firm.
The DDO has previously responded to such inquiries, in response
to a l7 September 1975 request (Review Staff #75/2962a), and
to date, the Office of Security has not been tasked with any
action concerning this request.
2. The attached memorandum outlines certain sensitive
identities connected with InterArmco, which cannot he released
to a Congressional Committee without prior coordination with
the Chief, Cover and Commercial Staff. It is tHm€tfore recom-
mended that a copy of referenced memorandum be filed with SAG's
Senate/House soft file entitled "Cooperating Companies," as
well as within the Office of Security files pertaining to
TnterArmco and Mr. Samuel Cummings.
3. This memorandum will then serve as a flag to Office
of Security personnel should some action be requested concern-
ing InterArmco in connection with the current Congressional
inquiries.
