This Central Intelligence Agency file, dated 29 September 1975, collects Office of Security memoranda written while the Senate Select Committee was investigating the Agency. Staff were told to alert former employees about possible committee contact over Project MERRIMAC/RESISTANCE, and the file answers committee questions about Hayes International and Bay of Pigs pilots. It also records staff interviews about CIA name checks at NSA and a Justice Department request for records on domestic electronic surveillance. It contains no material on UFOs.

requested the data in writing. Mr. Rourke also speculated,
and Mr. Andary apparently agreed, that even if the IRS-
employee responsible for the disclosure is identified, the -
disposition would probably be administrative in nature,
rather than in the form of criminal proceedings.
5. Mr. Rourke stated that Mr. Andary accepted his com-
ments, and has decided to recommend to his supervisors that i
the case be closed, and that the Department of Justice issue
a declination of prosecution in this matter. Mr. Rourke
theorized that should Mr. Andary's supervisors fail to accept
this recommendation Mr. Rourke may be required to continue
his interviews, with primary emphasis on.former WFO personnel.
Mr. Rourke expects the Department of Justice to make a decision
in this regard within the next few days, and said that he will
notify the Agency as soon as he hears from Mr. Andary.
