On 11 September KOSCHIN attempted to make arrangements for Admiral Mario Rodriguez Valpica to visit Grigori Korneyovich NIKIFORMS, Naval Attacks at the latter's hone. However, Rodriguez was leaving for Quaynas early the next morning and would not be back until January. Rodriguez expressed the hope that NIKIFORMS would still be in Mexico then be returned so they could renew their "friendship."

6. On 12 September Major Lyver MUNJURI (of previous record) left work with TROFDOV for MIKLORETS and the Military Attache that he would be pleased to have then attend a luncheon at Jardines del Podregal on Friday, 14 September to celebrate the inauguration of his equestrian school. He also invited TROFD07 and told him that the school is on Boulevard de la Luz at its furthest point.

7. On 13 September RISIDOY informed Earlique BALTANAZ Holt, noting 0-2 of the Navy under CCCCO, that ROSCHIN had not received an invitation to the Independence Day parade. BALTANAZ later contacted ROSCHIN to say that the Defense Department had sent out invitations to four officers in the Naval Attache's office, but they had obviously been mislaid. A duplicate would be sent to ROSCHIN, but in case it was not received in time ROSCHIN would have no problem getting into the stand, as he was expected. ROSCHIN was business-like in the conversation to the point of being curt. Later KALDIZ called Major Alfred NUNZZ Arguello, Army Second Sector, concerning the same matter of the invitations.

8. (Conandante) SANDOVAL of the Naval Staff contacted ROSCHIN on 28 September and said he had just received a letter from Luis NUNZZ Copina (ph), whom he described as a very small man. ROSCHIN knew to whom he was referring. NUNZZ has asked SANDOVAL to convey his thanks to ROSCHIN, stating that the injections had a marvelous effect, and that his wife would require further injections in four or five months. He said he would make another request for serum at that time, and ROSCHIN promised to order five more ampoules for December. ROSCHIN also expressed his pleasure at the recovery of Conandante ZETINA and sent greetings to ZETINA and SANDOVAL. (Field Correspond: The Soviets appear extremely polite with all members of the Naval Staff, surpassing all efforts at courtesy with other officials in the Mexican government. This may possibly be attributed to better indoctrination of the Naval Attache's staff.)

The secretary of the Guatemalan Military Attache advised RK4120V on 19 September that invitations were on the way for the Military Attaches Association meeting to be held on 21 September in the Restaurant Los Montejos, Insurgentes 675.
