This Central Intelligence Agency personality file on Soviet official Nikolay Sergeyevich Leonov (201-132139), with material dated 1953 to 1963, compiles cables, FBI documents, surveillance reports, press photos and passport copies. It records his Soviet Embassy service in Mexico City, the finding of his calling card in Fidel Castro's address book in 1956, and his role as Castro's interpreter in the USSR in 1963. A source identified him as a KGB officer, and a DIA item alleged he was planning Latin American insurgency.

4. One Daniel J. LL is believed to be the new chauffeur for the Soviet commercial office.

B. On 4 October 2015 L.L.OV reserved a room, the cheapest available with a ten-percent Early discount, at the hotel Focsevelt for Yevgeniya Retrevie 2015.01.04, no charge in the Commercial office who arrived in Mexico on 5 October.

On 9 October Nikolay St. Leonov, Secretary to the Ambassador, contacted one Licence IUUHAR (ph) and informed him that Nikolay had to leave India in a hurry, and would like to postpone their appointment until Thursday, 11 October.

D. Georgia, M.D.V, new employee in the Soviet Correctional office (motion pictures), arrived in mexico on 10 October.

On 11 October KAZATLV explained to an unidentified person that the article did not have a Press Attache, out that KAZUTIGI was need of publications and no (... ) was in charge of the press department.

E. On 17 October 1819 Oi was reported to be in veracrus and was expected back in Mexico City on the 20th.

G. CHELASV, LIN.CV, and wife, and LAENand wife and children departed mexico on 17 October as previously reported.

H. Early 10.07. and Burt and Celina 10.07 returned to Mexico on 23 October following nome leave. The 10.07s were acquainted by their son.

1. Soviet diplomatic courtiers Jourl (Yuriy) ARTUS7 and Anatoli TCINA OzMI are believed to have arrived in Mexico on 22 October. According to Air France manifests, they departed on 29 October for New York.

J. Tanara LINKOV, the wife of Second Secretary Likolov LINKOV, is working in the film section of the Soviet Zebra.

K. Karissa WEFORMS, wife of the Soviet naval Attore, appears to be having a clandestine affair with a person believed to be Nikolay LIV, subordinate to her husband and assistant naval attache.
