This Central Intelligence Agency file, released in 2025, collects 1968 cable traffic and dispatches between CIA headquarters' Western Hemisphere Division and the JMWAVE station about AMBUD dependency payments to families of Bay of Pigs brigade members. It covers closing trust accounts held by the agent AMTIKI-1, settling the account of a dead brigade member's mother, and handing case administration to MHMUTUAL. It also contains 1960 financial reports of the Democratic Revolutionary Front. The file has no UFO content.

Attached is a letter dated 25 January 1968 and addressed to the AMTIKI/1 facility from Esther F. MONTERO, 47-04 Broadway, Union City, New Jersey. Mrs. MONTERO is the wife of imprisoned Brirade member Ricardo MONTERO Duque and is the recipient of a $275 monthly AMBUD dependency payment. 2. In this letter and in a similar letter sent to Senator Robert F. KENNEDY (copy provided by her attached), Mrs. MONTERO, as President of the Mothers, Wives and Sons of the 9 Bay of Pigs Prisoners Association, refers to the possible exchange of the remains of Ernesto "Che" CUEVAPA and Communists imprisoned in Bolivia in return for prisoners in Cuban jails. She requests that the necessary steps be taken to insure that the names of the nine Brirade members still imprisoned in Cuba are included in the list of persons to be exchanged. Raymond K.
