Lynch said the weapons were desiried for use by extremist groups and private military forces—among them the Minutemen and Rangers. The plant operator denies that. "We have engaged a law firm to ask for a court order returning the weapons to our factory," said Lennil Kraken, who described himself as a partner in the arms firm and operator of the firm.

Lynch, however, was confer-

ring with the district attorney's

office to decide what action

should next be taken.

The weapons were seized by raiders armed with a search warrant issued by Curtis Municipal Court on grounds that the firm locked state license for manufacture, possession, sale or transportation of machine guns. Autogas acknowledged how ever using the firm did have federal authorization for such activity.

"We are licensed by the Internal Revenue Service and are working with the approval of the U.S. State Department to make three machine guns," Knutson said.

"We have a purchase order from the Curtis Bureau Government for equipment machine gun patrols. We are buying for use by Curtis Patrols against Fidel Castro." Knutson said.
